Exam stress, Colchester
Are you feeling stressed and anxious about your exams?
Would you like to know how to enhance your learning ability?
Would you like to know what way of studying will work best for you?
Would you like to feel calmer and more confident about your exams?
Exam stress is often the first, big stressful moment that a young person will encounter in their life. The pressure to do well, the fear of failure, the constant feeling that you’re not doing ‘enough’, the worry about what will happen if you don’t get your grades, all at the same time as trying to deal with the rest of the troubles that come with being a teenager. In fact, this moment often makes such an impact that adults (including me) STILL have the occasional nightmare about not having studied hard enough or not having handed coursework in.
So, if you are feeling anxious and stressed about your upcoming exams, then you should know that you are not alone. A Childline survey revealed that 95% of students feel this way about tests. Feeling stressed is normal, and it’s ok. In fact, a little bit of stress at exam time will help to maintain your focus and keep your motivated to study. But if you feel like your level of stress is getting out of hand, then the good news is that there are many ways to manage it so that you can feel calmer and more confident.
