Hypnotherapy online works exactly the same as face-to-face. We’ll arrange a time to speak on the phone first of all, so that I can make sure you have everything you need at your end:
A reliable internet connection
A device with a camera so that I can see you
A place to rest the device so that you can be hands-free
A quiet and confidential place where you won’t be disturbed
A comfortable seat that you won’t fall off if you close your eyes and relax

I have so far found no difference in the effectiveness of my online hypnotherapy sessions and face-to-face sessions. The format is the same. We’ll talk about where you are, how you’ve been between sessions, and where you’re hoping for things to go next. Then I’ll use whichever of my trance-based tools I think will be the most useful for the situation.
As hypnosis is not something the hypnotherapist DOES TO you but rather something your brain does in response to the hypnotherapist’s words, whether you are listening online from your own home or are in the same room, your brain can still do the same.
